I bagged sparring on Monday night. My shoulders and left wrist were spent and I didn't think it was wise to spar in addition to doing a lot of bag work. Probably a wise decision, but I feel guilty about missing.
Yesterday was a rest day.
Today's WOD was done in a FGB fashion, but we didn't count our reps.
As many reps as possible during one-minute rounds, repeat 3x. No rest between sets, one-minute rest between rounds.
Wall Balls 12#, 11#, 12#
Bench Dips
Lunge with Plate Overhead – 15#, 15#, 25#
One Arm Row, both sides, followed by push-up -15#
Had great difficulty during the push-up portion today. My shoulders were already spent by the time I got to that station and they still weren't fully recovered from Monday's workout.
Followed by 2 rounds of:
21 SDHP -45#
15 Cleans -45#
9 Push Press – 45#
I may have been the last one to finish today, but I finished! My left wrist continues to poop out before the rest of my body.

Today I get to shadow Chuck during the noon class. I have the Level 1 CrossFit Cert in December and much to learn. In addition, I want to get my personal training cert from NSCA so this will help me prep for that. I hope people don’t find it weird that I am there. I feel a little self-conscious about going, but I think it will be great experience for me. Chuck says the NSCA CPT test is brutal… Makes me wonder why I picked the toughest cert to get…
Tonight is karate and I must go. If I don't get my karate fix enough then I start getting antsy. Not sure which addiction is greater - karate or CrossFit. I must have both!
